How does Restor-A-Shine work for wood restoration? Restor-A-Shine works by polishing or burnishing the surface of the wood finish itself. Restor-A-Shine is available in two grades: Fine grade termed “Polishing Compound” and Super Fine grade termed “Burnishing Cream”. Restor-A-Shine combines fine wood polishing powders blended with orange oil. Restores brilliance to the look and smoothness to the feel of a high shine wood finish.

Cream” as the final restoration step for high gloss finishes, after using Howard Restore-A-Finish or Restor-A-Shine Wood Polishing Compound. The Burnishing Cream restores the brilliance to the look and the smoothness to the feel of the wood finish by buffing out fine scratches, dullness and haze.
Restore-A-Shine for wood restoration is safe on lacquer, varnish, shellac, and polyurethane finishes! Does not contain silicone or linseed oil. And, Restore-A-Shine is easily applied with a clean, soft cloth.
